Every thing is peaceful and quiet just waiting for all of us to arrive.
A play ground without kids???? and family????
The first thing we all did was eat and visit. We missed those that didn't come.Cam still trying to get something to drink.
This dog was the surprise visitor to the party. The first thing he did was to steel chicken right off the table.
"I saw that! And now I'm watching you. Quick move all the food!"
Eddie and Chris had a lot of different games for us to play, and most of us got into the spirit of things and had a lot of fun.
Three legged race. Old and young together.
then we played polo one adult and one child. But most of the kids couldn't reach the ground to hit the ball.
With 2 kids it was a little more even.
This was how everyone ended up doing it, so the kids could hit the ball
Come on Kayden!! Mirabel is going to beat you!!!

Come on Kayden!! Mirabel is going to beat you!!!The next thing we did, I think the kids enjoyed the most....... Scuba diving
No hands so this was a little harder for the real little kids....except for you know who
He got his fish so fast that I missed getting the picture.
but that's OK because he really got into the game. He's on his second dive
At least he waited long enough for me to get a picture this time.
OK Grandma I got another one.
And some were still trying to get their first fish.
Come on Haylee! Here let me push it closer so you can get it.
Now the older kids turn. Watch out! These kids really are getting down to business.
Hunters prize.
Kayden got his. Time to cool off.
Cordell got his too.
And Haylee is still trying to catch one.
Let me show you how it's done.
Haylee, I'll just sit here and rest while you keep trying, but don't give up.
Way to go Haylee!
OK now it's the old folks turn. "I'll do it if Eddie does it."
So I took off my glasses and scuba diving I went. About this time I realized I still had my watch on and it was under the water. I hope it's water proof.
I caught my fish!
Now for the pie eating contest. So off with the glasses again.
At least I mine's chocolate cream pie.
I'm finished!!!
"You can't be finished already.
This picture says it all...We had a great time.

I will be the first to say I really enjoyed the SUMMER Montgomery Party!! Although there is something about getting together at Christmas! :-) Great pictures Mom and Dad!
looks like alot of fun. Sorry I missed it.
I am so sad that I missed that. It really looks like you all had a great time. Not that my vote counts, but I vote for a summer party!
We had a blast. I think we should do both parties. I must have been feeding Harper during the polo because I didn't get to see it. I am probably going to 'borrow' some of your pictures.
opps that was actually Amber :)
Go right ahead and use any picture you want, Amber. That's the most fun that I've had at a family reunion.
cute pictures. We loved it in the summer as well. We vote for the summer.
What a good sport you are to go scuba diving and do the pie eating contest! Looks like it was fun.
